HOW CAN IT END SO QUICKLY -Poetry

The high carries the soul across mountains.
Nothing in life can be greater than now.
Not even nectar can be this sweet.
But the lightning flashes.
The thunder crashes.
And then.
It's gone.

INTO THE SHADOWS HE HIDES -Poetry

Wiggling and burning in the conscious eye,
The sinner hides from his sin.
Life falls apart. Spun are the lies.
Deception loosed upon others.
Crimson is the blood that drips from the soul.
Tainted the man has become.
Passion has led from his heart.
Indeed he will soon be discovered.
Yet, he goes on covering his wrongs.
-Trying to live in both worlds.
He wants what he has but covets yours.
And he damages others to hold onto both.
Darkness showed his wicked heart.
Into the shadows, he hides.
While his deceit he wears on his sleeves.
He is pitiful.
He is me.

CASUALLY TOSSED -Poetry

 CASUALLY TOSSED

I must live with what I’ve done.

A moment lost in the fun.

It only takes a little bit.

To throw your life in a pit.

I want to reclaim what I’ve lost.

The best of my life -casually tossed.

I should have been more ethically sound.

I should have kept my desires bound.

But I coveted what wasn’t mine.

I crossed over the dividing line.

Now I must live with my sin.

I lost it all when I gave in.

LIFE OF DISGRACE -Poetry

LIFE OF DISGRACE

I’ve done what I did.
From my sins, I have hid.
My staining, I can’t rid.
My lies, turbid.

I took, and I stole.
My intentions, dark as coal.
Buried myself in a hole.
I’ve sold my soul.

I can’t reclaim what I’ve lost.
Carelessly tossed,
The deception does exhaust.
Bad feelings now crossed.

I’d ask for your grace,
For my life of disgrace.
But I must embrace
My personal abase.

O HEART -Poetry

O HEART

The courageous heart,
Yet a heart of untruth.
I cannot trust you, Heart.

O Heart, you led me chasing.

Chasing the wrong way.
You misjudged.
You misguided.
Now I don’t know what to do.

O Heart, why do I believe you?

Why do I allow you to take me here?
I must be wary of you, Heart.
I must not answer your call.
Why do you set me to fail?

O Heart, you lift me on a high.

O Heart, you chop the legs beneath my being.
You are unworthy of my attention.
I must cage you.
I must wall you off.

O Heart, I’ll turn you to stone.

LOSING THEIR GREATEST FRIEND -poetry

One cannot undo

What one has done

How can one compensate

Losing their greatest friend
