COLONIAL RUM -Poetry

As they take the native’s land,
As their tribes they try to disband,
As they hold no value for their life,
A method better than the knife.
They dupe the natives for a swig of rum.
The strong drink makes the Iroquois numb.
Sweeping in they take it all.
Watching the beguiled natives fall.
