AN EMPTY VESSEL
My heart lost inside itself,
Has given all for others’ grief.
My ambitions placed on the shelf,
Where time presents as the biggest thief.
I had not power to reclaim my soul,
Helping others was my noble goal.
Yet I had given all I had.
My vessel empty; my mind’s gone mad.
