1 in 99
The dark of night, the crying bleats.
Far from the herd, no ears shall hear.
On their way, the wolves make haste
To the poor little lamb who lost its way.
With danger drawing near, the lamb tries to hide,
Under a log or in a bush.
Paralyzed by fear, the lamb is unable to move.
What is the fate of the lamb?
But alas, when all seems lost,
The shepherd knows the lamb's cry.
Leaving the 99 for 1,
The shepherd arrives just in time.
Against his chest, he cradles the lamb tight.
Comforted and safe,
The shepherd brings the lamb home.
