  EXTEND YOUR HAND

 

What world is this that fell apart while all our minds were sleeping?

Where people steal, and leaders lie while mankind’s hearts are weeping.

This, this is humankind, where people deceive, and cheat, and blind.

Here, here peace is lost, thrown away, and carelessly tossed.

 

What can we do, what can we change to bring peace to the earth once more?

Who can we heal, who can we love, to stop the hate, and stop the war?

This, this is our precious home, our neighbor, friend, and brother.

Here, here we must give our all to protect our sister and mother.

 

So bring your honesty, hope, and heart and give freely to each other.

Do what you can to share with all and lift the burden of another.

Now, now is the time to heal the earth, and heal the land.

Please, please open your heart and lift another and extend your hand.
