Dear Maiden,
You try to please, always proper.
Yet your rules are impossible to follow.
You must be skinny, but not too much.
A sweet woman is what they want, but don’t let them walk all over you.
To get ahead, you must assert yourself, though no one likes a Karen.
They want you to look sexy, but then they call you provocative.
They'll leave you if you don't give them what they want, but then if you do, you are easy.
A mom staying home is old-fashioned, but if you work, you neglect your kids.
They label you a feminist if you fight for your rights.
You will never measure up to a man, no matter how hard you train.
If you have a high-power role, they only gave it to you because of your gender.
Dear Maiden, how can you keep up?
