HER LIGHT DOES DIM
She can't figure this world out.
What the hell is life about?
When she gives, her intentions are questioned.
Some turn it away, which feels like rejection.
Others are critical of all that she does.
They seem to hate her just because.
Every choice she makes is criticized.
Her very being un-righteously analyzed.
If she gives, then she gives too much.
If she loves then its unwanted touch.
She serves with all her heart.
But her intent they rip apart.
Her goal is to make others better.
But her personality they try to fetter.
Slowly her light does dim.
Once hopeful, now her outlook is grim.
